Your last access point before Marshall is the new overpass on S. Marshall Rd. I know I will. Nice trail, great for kids. There are significant liability issues for the city on both of those areas that could derail our efforts to get the trail done. The Fish Lake Trail leaves West Spokane and runs south through open forest to reach Queen Lucas Lake, which is 1.5 miles north of the trail's ultimate planned destination, Fish Lake Regional Park. This trail winds through several distinct ecosystems along its 1.5 mile (one way) path. If you need to cool off, go down to the lake and take a dip at the beach. Occasional benches are found in the first four miles. Numbers of bass are relatively high and an excellent fishery exists.
